When we decided to build again we were very apprehensive as our last experience left us disappointed. We contacted a wide range of local builders to give us the best chance of success. From the outset Bonham, at Bonhams and Good Man impressed us with the effort he put into the detail of our quote. Visted approximately 5 builders for quotes.

However because of odd shape & slope of block some couldn’t build what we wanted, didn’t think it was possible to leave any outside living space or quoted rediculous prices. Bonham was never in any doubt that he could build what we wanted- 3 levels &  and the only extra costs were the deep footings as the house was constructed on filling with a lot of rock.

Our architect also recommended him for price and quality.

We had no problem throughout the build & Bonham suggested a few changes [ eg- blackbutt solid flooring instead of timber veneer & he procurred it at a great price, dissuading us from having cathedral ceilings on the top floor which would have been a huge cost useing a steel beam. We have ample light because of the openess & large windows ]

We have since recommended him to friends who have also contracted him to construct their homes.

Bonham commenced construction on our new home in August 2007. Being in our late sixties we needed a home that was compatible to not quite “aged care living” but close, for eg, wide hallways, large showers, one level living, ramp to clothes line area ect; During construction Bonham was always available to discuss and amenable to any changes that we thought necessary to achieve our expectations.

Bonham’s approauch was also reflected in the tradesman he employed, which ensured our “building experience” was completely stress free. Any problems that occurred after settlement were quickly attended to and rectified.

A relation is looking to build in East Banora and we had no hesitation in recommending Bonham for the job.Construction is due to ncommence in February 2013.
